OUR STORY
Over 40 years in Leichhardt.
I came to Leichhardt as a child in 1952, I love Leichhardt because it reminds me so much of my home town in Italy. I love the people in Leichhardt, there is no prejudice. There is unity.
I established La Gardenia in 1973 - it was always my dream to run a childrenswear store because I love children. I have seen four generations of familise come in. The children have now grown up and are shopping for their own children and their grandchildren.
I've seen a lot of changes over the years in Leichhardt, but you can still find me on Norton Street, dressing up children of all ages!
